![]() ![]() 'Timberbeasts', was published earlier this year in the first issue of Tales of Moreauvia Magazine, alongside a story by Gary K. ![]() All they needed was a previously published story and a headshot, so I happily agreed. This ties in nicely with the title of this post, since Ian has shown interest in reading a particular story of mine, 'Timberbeasts', and now 'Timberbeasts' is available to read free online! Serendipity.Ĭhoate Road, a new horror fansite (and an outrageously cool one, at that) asked me if I'd be their Spotlight Scribe for the month of December to tie in with the release of my book, Frozen Blood. Needless to say, I ordered the most expensive dessert on the menu. ![]() Case in point: when dinner was a little late (so "little" we didn't think it was late at all) and the manager offered us free desserts, they both graciously turned down the offer. It doesn't take long to realize that Ian and Kathryn are incredibly easygoing, down to earth, kind people. It's nice to get to know good people with similar interests who live within driving distance - if Colleen has to listen to me talk about the small press one more time I fear she might stab me in the eye with a rusty fork (she keeps a rusty fork handy for extreme situations when a clean fork just won't do). Ian and I live very close, only about forty minutes apart, and we'll be even closer once Colleen and I move into our new house. ![]() Colleen and I just returned from a dinner out with Ian Rogers and his wife Kathryn, and we had a wonderful time. ![]()
